BASSIST WANTED! Sudden Thunder seeks experienced, solid, mature bassist for live shows.
At the minimum, we are looking for someone for live shows only, but your role may expand to include songwriting contribution and perhaps recording if we feel there is suitable musical and personal chemistry as well as commitment. The perfect candidate will complement, rather than attempt to change, our sound and musical style.
Stage presence, image, gear, transportation, and team-oriented personality are all essential. Backing vocals and proficiency on guitar and / or keyboards are assets.
We're not interested in any substance abusers.

Good times are back!
Recording artist SUDDEN THUNDER is an original band whose music encompasses rock, hard rock, traditional metal, and progressive metal styles. The goal of the band is to blend all the best elements of 70s and 80s rock and bring them into the present day.
Much of the songwriting centers around upbeat, guitar-driven, good-times hard rock with strong vocals and lush harmonies, and a solid groove. Other songs delve into metal, with heavier, more aggressive tones. Yet these boys also know how to bring the tears with their emotional ballads. Just imagine a blend of VAN HALEN, STYX, BOSTON, and JOURNEY, with a bit of OZZY OSBOURNE thrown in for good measure! Lyrically, the band usually writes about themes we can all relate to - i.e. rock n roll, women, relationships, women, heartache, women etc... but isn't afraid to occasionally foray into deeper territory.
